Muskie Fishing Tackle and Techniques
Angling Experience
Suggested Tackle
Novice
Try your hand at fishing for these ferocious monsters with some classic baits. Vibrax Bucktails, Swim Wizzes, the Funky Chicken (black with orange blade), Mepps Musky Killers, or some Giant Tandem Spinner Baits. Don't forget the leaders - 12 inch minimum and the stronger the better!
Seasoned
Have you ever felt the adrenalin flow through your body, as a rage of fury blasts the calm surface of the water for that single, lonely topwater bait working the weedbed. WOW! If there's any way to become seasoned, that's got to be it. Try the Top Raider and the Pig line of baits. A standard in topwater - the Suick is a must.
Veteran
If your a pro, you have every bait going so bring your top picks and let the games begin!
