fantasic fishing experience.
Dear Jackie and Jody,
With 5 years of wonderful Andersons Lodge
experiences under my belt with my father, it
was time to allow my wife and two daughters
the opportunity to enjoy the thrill and beauty of
fishing in Canada. Our first trek as a family to
Anderson's was in 2004, when my daughters,
Nicole and Kendall were 10 and 8 respectively.
It was a tremendous experience for them and
when the following year vacations were between
Disney and Anderson's, the family vote was
unanimous, "We want Anderson's!!" Imagine
that….Truth be told, we ended up at both
places, more out of my personal excitement of
knowing that I had found in Anderson's a truly
special place for the family to enjoy each other,
talk with each other and become bonded in
ways that will be happily recalled through memories
years down the road. With 6 years now
under my belt with my "girls up north", I can
only say thank you for making each year enjoyable.
It is the special attention that you provide
your guests (including the wonderful guides you
have selected for us) and the sincerity of your
actions that make Anderson's a home away
from home.
The girls have already upped the ante, and are
looking to beat their 2009 achievement of landing
6 muskies. Indeed, we all look forward to
2010!
Sincerely
Jeff Nepote

We had a very good time at Anderson's Lodge.
Rooms, fishing, food, service and hospitality
were all excellent. Really enjoyed the pleasant
and friendly staff, and the exceptionally clean
cabins. Very glad we used the Bowrider for better
travel and fishing- it works well for four people
fishing. Roy did an excellent job and we
enjoyed fishing with him- he has many stories.
And last but not least, thanks for the use of the
car… See you next year!
Thanks again

Hi Jackie, Jody and staff
……..I did want to express my thanks on behalf
of the Home dealers. Our trip to Anderson's this
year was again a first class event. We were well
taken care of by you and your staff. The meals
in the restaurant were awesome but slightly out
done by the shore lunches the guides provided
each day. The fishing again was fantastic and I
heard many good comments about the guides
we had…………We do look forward to more
good years in the future. I know we have the
dates decided and I would like to hold spaces
for 26 at this point. See you next year

Hey Anderson's staff,
Had a great time at Tom's Landing
last week and thought you might
want a picture of my 29" walleye.
Biggest one I have ever caught. Also
thought you might want to put it in
your magazine to also show the
weather can be great up there too.

Jackie,
We did have a rougher than normal
year, but with 7 patches the fishing
for "Big Walleyes" was great. The
weather did produce some challenges
this year. All of the usual spots did
not produce, so we had to hunt further
north for fish. I think the cold
weather, snow and ice, kept the walleye
moving down from their beds.
However, the fish we caught were typically
22 plus inches.
We normally catch a few fish in the
25 to 30 inch range, but this year it
seemed like they were the norm. We
did have a tough time catching lunch
fish, 17 inch and under, but we never
went hungry. While the quantity of
fish was off the quality of fishing was
super! We did discover a number of
spots that produced plenty of action
even on the windiest of days; those
have been added to the log.
Our 7 patches made up for the
weather. Russell's 31 inch walleye
was the biggest of the trip, he was so
proud. Jon Starck, who had gone
patchless for the last 7 years, got
three walleye over 28 inches and our
newest fishing buddy Skip picked up
two patches within the first couple
days. He was a bit confused as to why
it was such a big deal to catch walleye
over 28 inches since most of the
fish he was catching were over 25. It
was Skip's first Canadian fishing trip
and his expectations were exceeded
to say the least. He also caught and
released a 38 inch Northern saying he
would like it to have a chance to grow
up; at that point Russell had to hit
him. I did manage to get in on the
patch count with a 28 inch walleye,
but with all the big fish being caught
it didn't seem like a big deal.
However, I did not turn the patch
down and added it to my collection.
Other then the weather it was a typical
fishing trip for us. It was great to
see Dick and I hope I didn't bore you
with the old photos of the last 20 plus
years of coming up to Anderson's. As
usual we enjoyed great hospitality,
service and equipment. Did I mention
it was cold this year? I think we
could do a GoreTex commercial
because we never got out of our rain
suits.
Give our best to all the staff, you and
Jody. We will see you next year, but
please turn up the heat.
Warmest Regards,
Nick DiCianni and gang

Dear Jackie and Jody,
Joe and I wanted to thank you for an
excellent trip. Everyone was very
nice and professional. The gentlemen
attending to Kakebeka, I forgot his
name, but he hooked us up with
some hotspots for walleye. The cabins
were excellent; I was really shocked
when we first saw them. I know a lot
of time, money and hard work went
into building these out in the middle
of nowhere. The fishing was awesome,
and like I told you when we got
back, we got tried of catching pike.
Thanks again, and we will try to get
back up and see you guys.

Dear Jackie and Jody,
Just a quick note to say thanks- as
usual, everything was great! Carlos
and the wait staff do a great job. If we
could get him to cut back on the
quantity, oh well. Every year we look
forward to Carlos' soups and desserts.
The cabins are great too, very clean
and neat!
As you may know last year fishing
was good. I added up our trout. Marge
caught 19 the first day, in two days I
caught 33. I'm not sure if that got
beat last year. We look forward to trying
next spring (That's 52 Lake Trout-
WOW!)
The walleye officially got measured at
29 ¼". According to the Ministry of
Natural Resources it was 21 years old.
It was tagged at Pelican Rapids- can't
get any closer than that.
Well, hope you are having a good
summer. ……We look forward to seeing
you next spring.
Best Regards

Hi Jackie,
I am sending you a few pictures for

Jackie and Jody,
Thanks again for a great trip. The
weather was perfect and the fishing
was incredible. We caught a boat load
of walleyes in and above the slot. Lac
Seul lived up to its name as the "walleye
capital". The pike were also cooperative,
plus we had a few of those
elusive muskies at the end of our
line.
As usual your customer service is
second to no one. Looking forward to
next year. See you at the Chicago
Show.

Subject: My First Canadian Fishing
Trip
Hello Jackie and Jody,
I just wanted to drop you a line about
my fantastic fishing trip with all of
you people. I got my fish home in
great shape, no problems at any of
the airports, or with customs, they
just inspected the car. We haven't
eaten any of the fish yet, but we will
soon and it will be a great meal to
remember.
You people have to be the best in this
business around. I had a great time,
the food was fantastic, the cabin was
great, and the scenery is great.
Johnny knows the lakes like the back
of his hands and he knows how to
cook too. I'm attaching three pictures
of the three largest pike I caught;
they all were around 35" long. I'm
already trying to get a group of three
other guys lined up for next year, I'm
telling them all just what they are
missing if they don't come up and go
fishing with you people. The only
thing that I was hoping to see was a
moose or bear but I didn't see either
one. Did see some eagles though,
they are a beautiful sight.
I will be calling you in the near future
about next year.

you that we had the time of our lives!
We were in cabin 2 from the 10th-

food was out of this world. The cabin
was perfect. The fishing could not
have been any better. You are all so
lucky to live in such a beautiful spot
in this world. ……….We hope to see
you next year about the same time;
as soon as we can all get a schedule
that fits…we hope to bring a few
more friends. We'll be setting up our
next trip soon.

While looking in the afterglow of yet
another wonderful experience at my
favourite fishing destination, I could
only reflect on this years
journey…From the planning stages to
the interminable wait for departure
day and before you realize it back
home- but wonderful photo memories
to relive again and again…this year
was particularly memorable having
our foresome of all the "boys" in our
family for the first time.
As expected the two rookies caught
the biggest fish and truly got
"hooked"! Time tested the whole
experience was memorable and very
rewarding - the fishing, our guide,
Rick, the great food and your wonderful
guidance for warm hospitality
were first class as always- and yes we
are already thinking about our next

Hi Jackie, Jody and all the gang at
Anderson's,
I just wanted to send you a short note
to say Thanks again for a great fishing
trip. I have been on several different
fishing trips over the years, and this
was my 6th trip to Anderson's it is
without a doubt that your accommodations
and the quality of your service
is first class and rates 5 stars!!
The weather was tough, but I know
that this is not a normal year. Kudos
to Bill, our guide he worked his tail
off to find and gets us over the fish.
He did a great job considering the
weather conditions. The first afternoon
of fishing, we tried our luck
with Northern Pike, my son Daniel
caught a master angler pike 42 ½
inches 17 ½ Lbs. That was a great
thrill!! Not just for my boys, but for
their dad to see the expressions on
their faces as that northern came up
along side the boat. That was worth
the price of the trip alone. This was
the first time fishing for my three
teenage sons. So I knew that
Anderson's would be the place to
bring them to make an awesome first
impression of what Canadian Fishing
is all about. I must say they are
hooked. All they talked about on the
way home was coming back next
year. Enclosed are a few pictures that
we took.
See you guys next year!!

Dear Jackie and Staff:
I wanted to provide the picture and
CD file of the Muskie caught back in
July that finally made the master list.
You and your staff again, exceeded
our expectations making the 8 days
we spent in Canada at Anderson's
Lodge more than memorable.
I have provided many of your business
cards to friends and business
acquaintances' who are dedicated
fisherman. The experiences we have
had in 2008 and 2009 genuinely
reflect the highest degree of quality a
Canadian Outfitter can provide.
Your guide staff is not only highly
knowledgeable about the lake, but
they also have a very high degree of
respect for the land and the aquatic
environment. I was very impressed
with the way Tim Bird was able to
revive many large Pike and the 44
inch Muskie I was fortunate to land
after a long battle. He and the rest of
your staff are true professionals.
The staff at the restaurant was also
very professional, friendly, and able
to provide some of the special dietary
needs we requested. The food and
preparation of the meals both at
"Foxy's" and the shore lunches was
unparalleled.
As we did in 2008, we will again recommend
Anderson's Lodge to anyone
who seeks high quality Canadian fishing
experience at a very reasonable
cost. We hope to see you again in
2010.
Best regards
Glenn and Pat Hammes
Blairsville, GA
P.S I am providing the enclosed
photo's also for Tim Bird…his masters
walleye and a few other of his
many aquatic accomplishments over
the week. He is truly a professional
